Maybelline Colorsensational Lipstick Nearly There (205)

There is a time when you look for n*de color for daily use (read it office use). I was on hunt of some bearable lipstick which I can use as daily wear. When at Maybelline counter SA swatched it on my hand I purchased without any second thought, it was nude it was glossy. Read on whether I liked it or not or a lot.

SWATCH –

You can see in the swatch on hand its n*de with little frosty finish which I found as glossy in the store. But when I applied on my lips it was n*de no doubt but very frosty and the biggest problem was if I apply once it looks good but doesn’t cover my pigmented lips and if I apply multiple times it becomes more frosty. You can see in the LOTD below. It’s frosty.

MY VIEW-

Well  I am totally confuse I love this color but really don’t know whether to go for one application or multiple. So what I do I apply this lippy once and then apply my Maybelline baby lips (any tinted version ) so it gives a nice coverage. This trick I do for office otherwise I generally don’t go for multiple application as I am wheatish in complexion and this totally wash me out. This one will surely look good on those with fair kin or those whose lips are naturally pink pink J

Summing up the + and – point

Below are the + points-

  1. It’s a pretty n*de color with frosty finish
  2. Good pigmentation
  3. Affordable price
  4. Doesn’t dry the lips

Below are – points-

  1. Staying power in my case it’s around 3 hrs without meal.
  2. May wash out dusky beauty or those with pigmented lips

RECOMMENDATION-

If you are looking for frosty lippy at affordable price you should not miss this beauty.

OVERALL RATING-

6/10 (all reductions are for washing me out else its really pretty shade)
