This shade I got in my vanity box from my in-laws so obviously the color is more of bridal color. When I swatched it firstly on my hand I was just amazed to see the pigmentation and texture. Read on to know whether I liked it or not.

SWATCH –
You can see the dark thick maroonish shade. Just one swipe is sufficient for full coverage. It’s glossy, pigmented both.
MY VIEW-
When I swatched it on my hand I loved the color. But when I applied on my lips I was somehow disappointed, it’s glossy it’s pigmented no doubt but somehow it doesn’t look good on my wheatish complexion. It make me look darker. But no doubt this color looks fabulous on Indian traditional wear. More importantly I am eye makeup person so I generally prefer muted lip shades but if you are no or only kajal person, you can surely go with it.
This shade is quite a bold one no doubt, I find it quite classy.
Summing up the + and – point
Below are the + points-
- It’s a bold maroonish shade you just need to apply it and you are done.
- Good pigmentation
- Not drying on lips
- Good staying power. Generally if the color is glossy it doesn’t stay on me for longer duration but this stayed on me for good 4-5 hrs.
- It doesn’t bleed.

- The con is also that it’s a bold color everyone may not be comfortable with it.
- I find it little sticky too which is a con for me I generally don’t like sticky formula.
RECOMMENDATION-
Yes, I think one should surely own one shade like this. Sometimes when we feel lazy we apply it and done. A small trick I use it as a stain, I just dab a very very less amount on my lips and then spread it evenly with help of finger or lip brush. I generally apply any clear lip balm over that.
